Pharmacological action
The mechanism of action of Priligy in treating premature ejaculation may be related to its inhibition of serotonin reuptake by neurons, thereby affecting the potential difference between presynaptic and postsynaptic neurotransmitter receptors. As a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), it prolongs ejaculation latency by modulating neurotransmitters.
