Needle Collection Container

The needle collection container is a special medical waste container made of polypropylene (PP) material. It is specially used to collect various needle-shaped medical devices, such as syringe needles, acupuncture needles, suture needles, etc. It can prevent needles from stabbing people and prevent pathogens from spreading through needles.

Some models of containers are equipped with a translucent cover, which can clearly see the internal filling status. You can judge whether the container is full without opening it, which is convenient for reminding operators to replace the container in time.

Strong Corrosion Resistance
The needle collection container is made of chemically stable polypropylene (PP) material. Even if it is in long-term contact with blood, body fluids or drug residues that may be included in medical waste, it will not be corroded.

High-strength Material
The needle collection container is made of high-density polypropylene (PP) material, which is integrally injection molded and can withstand a vertical puncture force of more than 12N. It will not be punctured by sharp objects such as injection needles and blades.

Water Drop-shaped Needle Removal Port
The container adopts a water drop-shaped needle removal port design. When using, just insert the needle into the teardrop-shaped hole, make it stuck in the syringe joint, gently pull the syringe outward, and the needle will fall into the container. There is no need to touch the needle with your hands, which is safer.

1. Install the sharps box: connect the box body and the box cover and press down to install them as a whole.

2. Rotate the red rotating disk on the top cover left and right to open or close the sharps box. Rotate counterclockwise to open and clockwise to close.

3. Collection of syringe needles: Insert the needle into the teardrop-shaped hole, jam it at the interface between the syringe nipple and the needle, gently press the syringe outward, and the syringe needle will automatically fall into the sharps box.

4. Collection of the sharps part of the infusion set: Hold the hose of the infusion set, insert the sharps part into the large opening of the top cover, and cut it with scissors, and the sharps part will fall into the sharps box.

5. Sharp objects such as blades or glass, as well as blood-contaminated items such as syringes and infusion sets used for blood transfusion can be directly placed in the large opening on the top.

6. When the sharps box is filled to 70% of the volume, the sharps box should be closed: rotate the red rotating disk on the top cover clockwise, and after hearing a "click" sound, press hard on the raised part of the red top cover, and the entire sharps box will be safely locked.
